Doing exercise with a chronic illness can be difficult and finding someone who understands your needs can also be quite difficult. Tom has been a great help to ease me into exercise slowly and at my own pace. He's understanding and patient with me and really helped me figure out what exercises help my body. He also understands when I'm unwell I can't do a session, so always tries to fit me in when I'm better. Definitely recommend Tom if you have a disability/chronic illness and would like to get into exercise.

Tom has worked wonders!

Tom has been working with my brother, who has learning disabilities, for over a year. He has motivated D to eat more healthily and to move more. As a result of Tom’s encouragement and perseverance D has lost 20% of his body weight! A fantastic achievement! Thank you Tom!

Encouraging without making you go beyond capacity!

Tom has helped me succeed with getting back into exercise and improving my fitness after long-term illness made it difficult to get back into it on my own (plus being neurodivergent meant I’ve always struggling with exercising consistently, so the illness recovery only made that struggle worse).

A qualified professional with more knowledge than other trainers I have come across, he is particularly understanding of how exercise intersects with disability and chronic illness – a foundation that I believe every personal trainer should grasp the basics of at least, though this doesn’t seem to be the case.

His availability for online sessions has made his service accessible to me, as gyms and in-person sessions with a trainer are still too risky for me while covid continues to spread in 2023.

Sessions with Tom are fun, productive and motivating. He knows how to balance encouraging you to push yourself a bit without making you go beyond capacity!
